It is made using a variety of ingredients such as dried red chilli peppers, garlic, ginger, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar & spices. The chutney has a distinct hot & savoury flavour with a hint of sweetness. It can be used as a dip for snacks or as a condiment for sandwiches, burgers & other dishes. It is particularly popular in Indian & Indo-Chinese cuisine.

Best enjoyed with :
Traditionally enjoyed with Indo-Chinese meals like noodles & chowmein.
Can also be had with chinese dimsums & Indian Parathas.
Experiment as a spread on dosas or a dip with momo's or even with the korean bulgogi.
